Steak and Eggs

Just like the fry-up, but you don't even need a grill.

  • An egg or two – poached or scrambled
  • Minute steak – a thin slice of sirloin
  • 1 Portobello mushroom and/or a tomato
  • 1 slice of whole grain toast and a little butter.

Heat the griddle pan and cook the mushroom or tomato until it's half done, then get the eggs on in a separate pan, and finally add the steak to the griddle.  Cook the steak for, you’ve guessed it, a minute each side.  I prefer mushroom rather than tomato with steak.  But from a weight loss point of view go with the tomato if you like!
