Basic Muesli Mix

The easiest way to make this work is to make up a big tub of your muesli then mix in the oatbran to each morning’s bowl.  That way you’re sure to get all the oatbran you need every day.

The percentages are very rough guides...

  • 60% rolled porridge oats
  • 20% whole grain wheat flakes
  • 5% hazelnuts
  • 5% almonds
  • 4% pumpkin seeds
  • 3% hemp seeds
  • 3% chia seeds

Mix ingredients and store in a Kilner jar.

For a bowlful just take 2 tablespoons of basic muesli mix and add:

  • 2 tablespoons of oatbran
  • 1 tablespoon of 0% fat yogurt
  • skimmed milk as you like
